 # Privacy Policy for CitizenPrep

The developer **Antonio Ortiz** ("we", "our", or "the Developer") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled within the **CitizenPrep** mobile application (the "Application").

By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

### 1. Information Collection and Use

**We do not collect any personal information or tracking data.**

* **No-account usage:** The Application does not require you to create an account, register, or log in.

* **No tracking or analytics:** We do not use third-party tracking tools, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks that track your behavior or your device.

* **Local storage:** Your study progress, statistics, missed questions, practice exam history, and chosen province or territory settings are saved **exclusively on your local device** (iPhone or iPad). We do not have access to this data.

* **Voice usage (Listen & Learn):** The audio feature utilizes your device's native text-to-speech capabilities. No audio data is ever sent to external servers.

### 2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The Application uses Apple’s official system to process purchases and subscriptions for *CitizenPrep Pro*. 

Purchase management. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, Inc. When you buy or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives the Apple purchase receipt and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address or any other personal information. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Advertising attribution. If you installed the app after tapping an Apple Search Ads advert, the app requests an attribution token from Apple's AdServices framework once per install and shares it with RevenueCat, so we can see which campaigns work. It contains no personal information, is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not require the tracking permission prompt.

* The Developer does not collect or store your billing information, credit card numbers, or mailing addresses. 

* All financial transactions and subscription management are securely handled through your Apple Account in accordance with App Store policies.

### 3. Third-Party Links

The Application may contain links to external websites (such as Apple's standard EULA or the official Government of Canada website). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those third-party sites.

### 4. Data Security

Since all your progress data is stored locally on your own device, its security depends entirely on your device's security. We recommend protecting your iPhone or iPad with passwords or biometric data.

### 5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You will be notified of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page or through an Application update.
