Privacy Policy - CSCS Prep Exam
PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This policy explains what CSCS Exam Prep ("the app", "we", "us") does with your
information. The app is published by [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME] and is available on the
Apple App Store.
Short version: the app has no accounts and no sign-up, your study progress never leaves
your device, and we do not track you or sell anything about you.
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA
[YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME] is the data controller for the limited personal data described
below. You can contact us at any time at ortizrojas_bnk@hotmail.com.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app stores the following locally on your iPhone or iPad. It is not transmitted to us
and we cannot see it:
- Your answers, scores and mock exam results
- Which questions you have seen, bookmarked or answered incorrectly
- The exam date you enter, and your daily study target
- App settings such as whether haptic feedback is switched on
This information stays on your device. It is included in your device backup if you have
iCloud Backup or a local backup switched on, under Apple's terms. Deleting the app removes
this data from the device.
3. INFORMATION PROCESSED WHEN YOU MAKE A PURCHASE
If you buy the lifetime unlock or a subscription, the payment is taken by Apple. We never
see or receive your name, address, card number or Apple Account details.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a processor to manage purchases and to check whether your
purchase is active. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous identifier generated by the app for your installation
- Purchase and receipt information from Apple, such as the product bought, the date, the
price, the country of the store, and whether a subscription is active, cancelled,
refunded or in a free trial
- Basic technical information such as the app version, device model and operating system
version
- An attribution token from Apple's AdServices framework. If you installed the app after
tapping one of our adverts in Apple Search Ads, Apple uses it to tell us which campaign,
ad group and search keyword led to the install; otherwise it tells us the install did
not come from an advert. It does not identify you and does not use the advertising
identifier (IDFA)
Purchase information is used to deliver the content you have paid for, to restore your
purchase on a new device, and to keep basic sales records. Attribution information is used
only to measure which of our Apple Search Ads adverts lead to installs and purchases, so we
can decide where to spend on advertising. It is not used to show you adverts, to build a
profile of you, or to track you across other apps or websites.
RevenueCat is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the
United Kingdom, it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law,
including standard contractual clauses.

4. WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- We do not require an account, an email address or any sign-up
- We do not show adverts in the app, use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or use
third-party ad networks
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not ask for App Tracking
Transparency permission because we do not track
- We do not use analytics SDKs
- We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location
5. WHY WE ARE ALLOWED TO PROCESS THIS DATA
Under UK GDPR, our lawful bases are:
- Performance of a contract, for processing purchase information so that we can give you
access to the content you have bought and restore it when you ask
- Legitimate interests, for keeping basic records of sales, preventing fraudulent or
abusive use of purchases, and fixing technical problems
- Legal obligation, for retaining transaction records where tax or accounting law requires
it
6. HOW LONG IT IS KEPT
Data on your device stays until you delete the app or reset your progress in Settings.
Purchase records held by RevenueCat and by Apple are retained for as long as needed to
support your entitlement and to meet accounting and tax obligations, typically six years.
7. CHILDREN
The app is rated 4+ but it is intended for adults preparing for a workplace test. It is not
directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Provide it in a portable format
Because the app has no accounts, we usually need a purchase-related identifier such as the
Apple transaction ID from your receipt in order to locate any record.
Email ortizrojas_bnk@hotmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's
Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
9. SECURITY
Data on your device is protected by the security of iOS itself. Purchase data in transit
is encrypted. We keep the number of people with access to any records to a minimum.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is
significant, tell you inside the app.
